on July 27, 2018, the opera "La Cenerentola" will celebrate its premiere with the enchanting fairytale story of Cinderella by Goacchino Rossini (1792-1868) and I am pleased to be able to sing the part of Alidoro.
The courtyard of Hallwyl Opera castle (Switzerland / Seengen) is the scene of a charming love story with the fairy tale of Cinderella:
Angelina, the stepdaughter of Don Magnifico, lives with him and her step-sisters Clorinda and Tisbe in the castle. They viciously call her Cenerentola and urge her to do lesser work. But when one day the invitation of Prince Don Ramiro flutters to a ball in the castle, everyone is excited: The most beautiful of the evening, the prince wants to take his wife! Angelina is not allowed to join. But the Prince has only one eye at the ball, which looks very much like her ...

Gioachino Rossini, the composer from Pesaro was a bon vivant and a virtuoso, gourmet and gourmand; his name is rightly still prominent in the schedules of all major opera houses as well as in the menus of many Italian restaurants. 2018 marks the 150th anniversary of the death of the "Swan of Pesaro".
A worthy occasion for a new encounter with the great music from La Cenerentola, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Liitaliana in Algeri, Tancredi and other wonderful works. The seven vocal soloists are from Argentina, Japan, Russia, Bulgaria, South Korea and Armenia. Although all of them are still part of the younger generation of singers, they all have enjoyed outstanding success, including at La Scala and the Vienna State Opera. Lastly, they enchanted the enthusiastic visitors of the Alte Oper Frankfurt with this very Rossini program.

The most versatile and dazzling Italian opera composer of the 19th century was born 225 years ago: Gioachino Rossini, creator of the incomparable "Barber of Seville", would certainly have celebrated such a birthday with many delicacies from the gourmet kitchen, with some excellent wines and a lot of music. We celebrate the great Maestro with brilliant and turbulent, but also with sensitive and melancholic scenes from seven of his most famous operas.
In addition to the "Barber of Seville", you can listen to excerpts from "Tancredi", "The Italian in Algiers", "Wilhelm Tell", "La Cenerentola", "Semiramide" and "The Journey to Reims".
This year I received the MARUSEN Foundation Culture Prize for the first time.
I have been awarded this as the cultural ambassador of the city of Okayama.
This award is given to important personalities of the city who have become known beyond the borders of the city.
I am very proud to have received this award. Especially as a Japanese who lives in Germany.
iThis summer I had a concert in my hometown. My hometown is TAMASHIMA, where I was born and grew up to 18 years of age. I have a special connection to my home town., asmy father worked there as a banker for 33 years. Unfortunately, he died in 2007. This year marks the 10 year anniversary of his death. On this occasion, his company sponsored my concert on 28/07/2017. In my mind, I am still very grateful to my father.
Gift Music Company is a group of young classical musicians, which was set up by me in 2004.
The aim of the group is to bring the joy of classical music to all children and adolescents of all ages, regardless of their social class.
This year I gladly spent 4 whole days with my children's choir. Like every year, there was a big concert at the end, to which all the families and friends were also invited.
