Gioachino Rossini, the composer from Pesaro was a bon vivant and a virtuoso, gourmet and gourmand; his name is rightly still prominent in the schedules of all major opera houses as well as in the menus of many Italian restaurants. 2018 marks the 150th anniversary of the death of the "Swan of Pesaro".
A worthy occasion for a new encounter with the great music from La Cenerentola, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Liitaliana in Algeri, Tancredi and other wonderful works. The most versatile and dazzling Italian opera composer of the 19th century was born 225 years ago: Gioachino Rossini, creator of the incomparable "Barber of Seville", would certainly have celebrated such a birthday with many delicacies from the gourmet kitchen, with some excellent wines and a lot of music. We celebrate the great Maestro with brilliant and turbulent, but also with sensitive and melancholic scenes from seven of his most famous operas.
In addition to the "Barber of Seville", you can listen to excerpts from "Tancredi", "The Italian in Algiers", "Wilhelm Tell", "La Cenerentola", "Semiramide" and "The Journey to Reims".

I am very proud to have received this award. Especially as a Japanese who lives in Germany.
iThis summer I had a concert in my hometown. My hometown is TAMASHIMA, where I was born and grew up to 18 years of age. I have a special connection to my home town., asmy father worked there as a banker for 33 years. Unfortunately, he died in 2007. This year marks the 10 year anniversary of his death. On this occasion, his company sponsored my concert on 28/07/2017. In my mind, I am still very grateful to my father.

The aim of the group is to bring the joy of classical music to all children and adolescents of all ages, regardless of their social class.
